Selby Jennings helps raise £3,500 in Football Tournament in aid of Link Leisure.
On Sunday 24th June, Selby Jennings participated in Recruitment International’s eighth annual 5-a-side football match in aid of Link Leisure, a charity that actively supports people with learning disabilities.
Held at the purpose built Goals 5-a-side venue in Wimbledon, the Tournament kicked off in spectacular fashion with the Selby team quickly stepping up as strong contenders. Playing to win the coveted Recruitment International Colleague Cup, Selby Jennings competed against a group of 38 Recruiters, demonstrating energetic competitive spirit and sportsmanship throughout. Having stormed their way into the Cup Competition, they qualified second in their group , narrowly missing out on the opportunity to compete in the Semi-finals (Despite dominating the other 3 matches in their group with 4-0, 4-0 and 3-1 results). Despite their result, the Selby team were glad to contribute to raising £3,500 money for the charity.
